It DOES exist, peanut!

So I was reading TWoP's America's Next Top Model recaps, and the recapper mentions a "movie that I saw when I was a wee lass that no one believes is real. A bunch of evil people kidnapped children and made them work at a factory where their hair was harvested for paintbrushes. Literally, everyone who I tell about this movie thinks that I'm insane." I was curious, and when curious, I Google, yes I do. And

The movie is called “The Peanut Butter Solution”. I watched it many times when I was young and impressionable. A plot synopsis:

“The Peanut Butter Solution” starts with a young who gives money to a homeless man. Then the homeless man dies in a fire in an abandoned house. Then the boy, dared by his friends, goes into the house and sees the homeless man’s ghost. And then his hair falls out from fright. So now, not only is he a scared little bitch, but he’s bald. And he tries to glue a wig to his head but there’s this heart-wrenching scene where his wig gets pulled off in front of a bunch of his classmates. And then he goes home and cries. And then he hears ghosts downstairs in his house, and he goes down there and they show him how they (the ghosts) can make lots of noise at night because sleeping people can’t hear it when you slam kitchen cabinets shut (seriously). And then the ghost shows him how to make this Peanut Butter Solution that will make his hair grow back. And the boy does, only his hair just won’t quit growing. And then his evil art teacher kidnaps him and his friends to use his hair to make these magical paintbrushes that allow you to walk in to whatever you paint with them. And then one kid talks back to the evil art teacher and he puts him in a cage and swings it around in circles and makes the kid really dizzy. And then the kids trick the art teacher into painting the abandoned/burned down house and walking into it and then the art teacher sees the ghost and his hair falls out. The end. is what I find.

I have SEEN this movie, yo, and it weird. I vividly remember the kid walking in the wind and his long, peanut butter colored hair getting tangled around his legs and in tumbleweeds and stuff. But no one I talked to ever remembered this movie. It's nice to know that it actually exists, just like I always knew it did. Just like that movie where a girl gets trapped in a room and these three men are on the other side of the door and they are evil. Then both the girl and her mother die and become ghosts and shoot of into the stars. Or something. It does exist!! Just like "The Peanut Butter Solution"!
