RL. Yes, I do have one. Sorta. :)

An actual update on how things are going. Let's see if I can do this without boring myself or seeing something shiny and wandering off, hee.

Though mostly my life is the boringest of the boring, this weekend was not. First I went to Bakersfield to see the Holly and the Pan, and we had ourselves lots of fun watching nine thousand Maynard videos and seeing Gale make an ass of himself on live interviews. I so like my men inarticulate, you know? But the C.A.D. videos really were frightening, Holly my love. The Jesus sandals kind of rocked, though, once you got used to the whole spandexy/sandal effect. Now I want a pair of Jesus sandals for my very own, not that I didn't beforehand. Also, bowling shoes, and the awesome red and white monstrosities that the organ player was wearing at the Mary Poppins event on Sat. Ugly shoes seriously rock my socks. Anyway, Holly practically gave me her whole library to read (not really, three books, but I still love her for it), and we ate at BJ's, where we had the Pizookie O' DOOM. Delicious, but oh, so sweet. I usually prefer sour things, but who can say no to a pizookie? My point exactly. I want BJ's to hurry it's booty up and get here, though, because their margaritas kick such ass that it is not to be believed. I like. Then there was the late night migration to the store for munchies, where we frightened the poor check out girl. 'Twas fun. Also, we rented She's the Man, and found that it is as awful as it sounds. All in all, a good time.

Then Sat was spend with Rachie cakes, to see the Mary Poppins Sing Along at the El Capitan. We didn't get lost this time! And in daylight it's really so much easier to get around, you know. We were there super early, so we got my ticket at will call and then went walkin'. We stopped to get something small to eat becuase neither of us had really eaten, and I went on a rant about pay toilets. It is my firm belief that if you have to pay to pee, the bathroom better have someone in it to hand you your damn handtowels. But no. It was disgusting. *shudders* Oh, well. There were pretty boys to make up for it. You know how I like me a pretty boy. :D Rachie had to stop and take a gazillion (or three) pictures of the Mary Poppins sign. And when we finally got in the theatre and were seated and the movie started, Rach geeked out when the fake MP came on the stage, and I kind of thought that she was going to lose her stuff when Julie Andrews finally got on screen. Not that she was the only one. We had a lot of Julie Andrews fans in there. Did I mention it was a sing-a-long? Oh yeah, I belted out my voice quite shamelessly. And danced. Just not fot that bird lady song, because I hate it. "I hate it so much!" There was this lady behind me who had a really nice voice. I was jealous. And then Mary went bye-bye, and everyone flew a kite, and it was time to go. Not that it stopped us continuing our songfest outside. As if anything could. ;) It was raining and I might have done a little dance, if I hadn't been in my sexy boots. That still wouldn't have stopped me if the poor soles of those boots weren't nearly worn ragged. I slipped about twelve times on the walk back to the car. Then we had El Toritos, and guacamole. Good stuff. After which Rachie went to go see the boy, and I went home to sleep, for much as I wanted to party, I wanted to sleep more.

So went my last three day weekend before school, when I shall have no social life to speak of. Hey, Tam, are you going to Estrella? I read that Adam was, and I was wondering...
